What the fuck.

I just had the most infuriating and disappointing conversation with a group of people about domestic violence. 

The really interesting thing was no one in the group knew I was a feminist, but then a man called me a feminist. 

And once that happened, it seemed although I had been demonized.

And then, everything at that point was dismissed BECAUSE I was a feminist.

And then they continued calling me a feminist as an insult

But then I thought about tumblr and my club SAGE (Student Activists for Gender Equality) and I knew that if I shared my experience in either places that I would have people to support me. 

So when SAGE rolls around at 6:00 tonight I will talk to my fellow club members and I will feel better. 

So, to those people, fuck ya’ll. 

And forever and always, because of the fact that being called a feminist is an insult (among millions of other reasons),

I will always proudly proclaim that I am a feminist.
